Look for Special Events Rental's hard work and expert craftsmanship that went into the episode. Highlighted below, are products and services we provided to make Shawn and Jen's wedding perfect. The photos used were taken at various stages of the production. Keep in mind that all items and services can be rented or custom-tailored for your event.

Special Events Rental designed and constructed a 60’ x 60’ enclosed Celtic church in the Woodward Ballroom at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel, in Downtown Detroit. The massive production used over 200 feet of stone wall paneling, over 40 sections of staging and enough fabric to cover the entire ceiling leaving the ballroom unrecognizable.

Before Jen walked down the aisle, she stood in front of the towering church façade built by Special Events Rental. The façade was built with two-sided faux stone walls. It also was customized to support actual doors from a church in Ireland.

The Church was enclosed by 12’ stone walls. Special Events Rental designed and built the faux stonewall paneling. The panels were framed out and covered with sheets of foam handcrafted to resemble stone blocks. Some panels were cut to have custom stained glass windows put in. The walls are now available to rent.

The Special Events design team, digitally created a stained glass windows pattern unique to Shawn and Jen. It included family crests and other symbols important to them. The pattern was printed and mounted on glass then set into the stone wall panel.

The roof of the church was done entirely of spun gold sateen. Special Events had to attach fabric to a truss running down the center of the room, then tucked it behind the paneled walls. A custom chandelier built by Special Events was hung at the entrance of the church.
